Martin Lewis has shared a four digit hack that could save you hundreds on your phone bill.

The Money Saving Expert explained that 14 million people in the UK are out of contract on their phone contracts and therefore “seriously overpaying”.

To check the status of your contract, text INFO for free to 85075. You will then receive a reply telling you whether you have any early termination or early cancellation charges.

If you don’t, Lewis advised switching to a cheaper sim-only contract to save you money.

“So then simple rule of thumb if you’ve been on the same deal for more than two years you’re almost certainly out of contract. Do check it out.”
