
PUTATAN: Construction work on the Al-Bukhary-Usia Dakwah Training Centre in Kg Marasinsim, Kota Marudu, which started after Hari Raya Aidil Fitri this year, has reached more than 90 per cent.
United Sabah Islamic Organisation (Usia) President Datuk Sapawi Ahmad said it was a continuation from previous construction works that reached 70 per cent but was stopped the past five years due to several factors.
When completed possibly early next year, it would become a platform for the empowerment of Maahad Tahfiz Islamic graduates in Technical and Vocational Training Program (TVET).
“We are collaborating with the Darul Redzuan Islamic Skills Institute (IKDAR) Sabah branch through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed last August.
