Masidi calls for prompt action on public complaints

Kota Kinabalu: Deputy Chief Minister and State Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said all public complaints raised through the media should be investigated and acted upon promptly without waiting for instructions as a reflection of the State Government's commitment to efficient, responsive and accountable public service delivery.

He said continuous efforts should be made to strengthen the efficiency and professionalism of the public service so that it remains responsive to current demands and capable of meeting public expectations through more effective and higher-quality government services.

Masidi made the call when receiving a courtesy visit from the newly appointed State Secretary Datuk Zainudin Aman.

He also congratulated Zainudin on his appointment as the new State Secretary.

Masidi said Zainudin's experience and leadership would further strengthen public service delivery and support the State Government's development agenda for the well-being of the people of Sabah.
