PITAS: The Pitas and Pintasan state constituencies are expected to remain strongholds for Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) in the upcoming 17th State Election, says Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Vice-President Datuk Masiung Banah.

Speaking at the annual general meetings of Pitas and Pintasan Gagasan Rakyat on Sunday, he said both areas have consistently performed well and are likely to retain their seats for the coalition.

Gagasan Rakyat Pitas is led by Assistant Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Datuk Seri Ruddy Awah, while Pintasan is helmed by Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Fairuz Renddan.

He said grassroots leaders must remain focused on their responsibilities and avoid distractions from opposition tactics, adding that increased attacks only strengthen GRS and Gagasan Rakyat’s position in government.
