TONGOD: Sedco Chairman Datuk Masiung Banah called on school leaders to strengthen two-way collaboration with strategic partners to enhance academic development.

He said cooperation between teachers and parents is key to attracting partnerships with government agencies, local authorities and the private sector.

Officiating the SK Tongod PTA annual meeting, the Kuamut assemblyman also urged local communities and NGOs to contribute ideas and expertise to help produce high-achieving students.

Masiung stressed that rural schools can become centres of excellence through strong collaboration, while encouraging school leadership to nurture talent in both academics and sports.

He later presented funds to support the school’s physical operations.
