A Sky News journalist was approached by masked men holding weapons as she reported on unrest in Middlesbrough over the weekend.
North of England correspondent Charlotte ‘Lotty’ Leeming stepped away from the group as she described the “disorder and mayhem” on the streets.
As the incident unfolds, one of the men can be heard in the background telling her “not to worry”.
“I’m sure your producer is watching your back, if you need to go Charlotte, please feel free,” her colleague in the studio says.
“We know it’s a volatile situation there.”
