Bayern Munich legend Lothar Matthaus insists they can face Manchester City and Erling Haaland with confidence in their Champions League quarterfinal.
Following the draw on Friday afternoon, the Bundesliga champions will take on Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the next round of the competition.
They'll be faced with the tough ask of keeping Norwegian star Haaland - who has scored 39 goals in 36 appearances this campaign - quiet for 180 minutes of football.
Speaking to Sky Deutschland, Matthaus claimed that "Manchester City is in a very good mood" coming into the tie.
He then reflected on the potential danger that the Norwegian could cause and said: "Haaland played against Bayern more often and scored less. You don't need to be afraid of him".
