SHAH ALAM, Aug 29 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari yesterday congratulated social media entrepreneur Khairul Aming Kamarulzaman on being named Creator of the Year by TikTok Malaysia.
Amirudin said Khairul’s success is the best motivation for youth in Selangor as he is a responsible influencer and content creator.
“The exemplary qualities and advice of Khairul Aming is the best motivation for youth, especially those in Selangor. In the era of rampant social media use, politeness, decorum and education are important to develop a community with good character,” the menteri besar said in a Facebook post.
Amirudin said under the Kita Selangor initiative, the unity government has implemented the Digital Content Grant to encourage activity and creativity among youth to produce digital content.
“God willing, I hope more youth will follow in Khairul Aming’s footsteps in becoming responsible influencers and content creators,” the menteri besar said.
