SUBANG JAYA, March 11 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari today inaugurates the Tunku Abdul Rahman Memorial Monument located near Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Tunku, here yesterday.
At the brief ceremony, he was briefed on the monument’s restoration process which was fully completed in 2019 by Kampung Tunku state assemblyman Lim Yi Wei.
After visiting the monument, Amirudin adjourned for the Jumaat Rahmah programme at the Kampung Tunku Mosque to perform Friday prayers with the local residents.
He also took time to meet community leaders and to listen to grievances, in addition to inspecting the mosque’s facilities.
