SHAH ALAM, Dec 25 — The Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) has extended the renewal period for industrial, business, and advertisement licences until January 31 next year.

Klang Mayor Datuk Abd Hamid Hussain said licence renewals can be fully completed online via the MyLesen System, with no penalties imposed during the extension period.

“MBDK has also opened renewal counters to provide assistance and advice on using the MyLesen system.

“The counters are open from December 23 to January 31 at Dewan Hamzah, every Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 4.30pm,” he said during a meeting with MBDK council members yesterday.

Hamid also reminded all licence holders to renew their licences promptly to avoid last-minute congestion.

In a separate development, he said that members of the public wishing to report emergencies including fallen trees, floods, or open burning can contact MBDK’s disaster complaints hotline via WhatsApp at 017-8747 363.

This disaster complaints hotline operates 24 hours a day and is managed by MBDK’s Rapid Response Unit.
