Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman has admitted the country's sports policies will continue.

The Middle Eastern nation have spent mega money on sporting events around the world.

The Saudis own Newcastle United in the Premier League, have a huge stake in the PGA Tour in golf, and are now bringing top footballers to their domestic league.

"If sports washing is going to increase my GDP by way of one percent, then I will continue doing sport washing. I don't care," the Crown Prince told Fox News.

One percent growth of GDP from sport and I'm aiming for another one-and-a-half percent call it whatever you want, we're going to get that one-and-a-half percent."
