SUBANG JAYA — MBSB Bank Berhad today marked the official opening of its USJ Branch at Taipan Business Centre, strengthening its presence in Selangor and bringing its consumer, wealth and business banking solutions closer to customers in one of Subang Jaya’s busiest commercial areas.
To mark the official opening, MBSB Bank is offering a special rate of 3.78% per annum for 12-month Term Deposit-i and Term Investment Account-i placements from RM1,000 to RM100,000. The USJ opening promotion runs from 1 to 31 July 2026, while placements above RM100,000 will be subject to the prevailing nationwide campaign rates.
Taipan Business Centre is one of Subang Jaya’s busiest commercial areas, serving a large base of residents, professionals and businesses across USJ. Located on Ground Floor No. 1, Jalan USJ 10/1J, the branch commenced operations on 27 April 2026, giving customers direct access to MBSB Bank’s consumer, wealth and business banking solutions, supported by financial guidance from the branch team.
The USJ Branch is among six new and relocated MBSB Bank branches brought into operation in 2026, reflecting the Bank’s continued investment in customer access across key residential and commercial markets. The Bank’s branch activity this year includes new branches in Inanam, Bayan Baru and USJ, alongside branch relocations in Kangar, Kulim and Bintulu. MBSB Bank’s previous branch releases similarly positioned these openings and relocations as part of its wider effort to improve accessibility and service coverage.
As the only bank headquartered in Petaling Jaya, MBSB Bank has built an established presence across Selangor, with nine branches serving key communities including Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Puchong, Klang and Kelana Jaya. The new USJ Branch places the Bank directly within Taipan Business Centre, one of Subang Jaya’s most active commercial areas.
