SHAH ALAM, June 29 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ), in collaboration with residents’ representative councils, carried out an anti-dengue campaign in several residential areas.

In a Facebook post, it said the areas include Zones 12, 4, 24, and 2, where the campaign ran from June 24 to June 25.

“The purpose of the campaign is to reduce the density of the main dengue vector, the Aedes mosquito, in localities that were previously hotspots for outbreaks.

“It also aims to create advocacy initiatives to combat dengue and prevent dengue outbreaks in surrounding areas,” MBSJ said.

The local authority also took the initiative to provide free education to the public on the dangers of dengue, at SMK Puchong Perdana.
