Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong admits he could've joined Manchester City this year.
The Dutchman left Ajax for Barca this summer, having signed in February.
He recalled: "Had it not been Barcelona, it's hard to say now, but I probably would have gone to PSG or Manchester City.
"It's not good to talk about being motivated by money. Money is not my area, it was never the topic of conversation at the meetings I was at. That was my agent's case.
"The choice of Barcelona was based on the fact that it was the club that showed the most love."
