KOTA KINABALU: MCA expands to recruit non-Chinese through affiliate members with 100 application forms handed out in Sabah on Sunday.
MCA President Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong (pic) said the resolution passed a year ago has already gained a few hundred members nationwide and is looking for more.
“Even if MCA is a Chinese-based party, we have to unite with other races who are confident in our party and give them a little playroom.
“In a multicultural Sabah, the people know they need to unite, so let them give us the formula,” he said during a MCA Sabah Convention here.
