TAWAU: The exemption of Tawau from the curfew, now known as the Sabah Esszone Movement Control Order (MCO), on October 17 this year shows the district’s waters are secure.
Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan hoped the rebranding and downsizing of the Esszone MCO will be able to strengthen the economy agenda, especially by boosting tourism and the development of local companies.
He expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for the exemption, believing that the matter can benefit the people of Tawau in terms of meaningful employment and equality of opportunity.
