Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Haji Hajiji Noor said a meet bodes well for the consolidation of mutually beneficial cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei.

This allows the two countries to pursue wide-ranging cooperation in the context of strong Malaysia-Brunei relations and that of Sabah-Brunei, he said in a statement.

The Chief Minister accompanied Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to the 25th Malaysia-Brunei Darrusalam Annual Leaders' Consultation (ALC), the highest-level meeting between the two countries, at Istana Nurul Iman, in Brunei's capital city, Monday.

At the ALC, leaders of the two countries - with Brunei led by Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah - witnessed the signing of an MoU and bilateral instrument between Malaysia and Brunei.
