Kota Kinabalu: The upcoming 2nd TTLx Summit set to take place here will gather industry players to explore measures to accelerate the recovery of tourism in the post-pandemic period.
The conference, set to take place at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from Sept 17-28, aims to foster in-depth discussions on rebuilding confidence in the tourism industry, generating new ideas and support for tourism-related businesses.
State Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister, Datuk Christina Liew highlighted the focus of the TTLx Summit 2023 with the theme “Experience Tourism!” is on exploring and promoting the concept of experiential tourism which involves creating immersive and engaging experiences for travellers that go beyond the conventional sightseeing and relaxation aspects of travel.
