MEGAWORLD Corp. on Wednesday said it would be turning over some P21 billion worth of condominium units and other developments this year as it accelerates township constructions nationwide.
Scheduled turnovers include units at Sunny Coast Residential Resort in Manila, commercial lots at Northwin Main Street in Bulacan and beachside residential lots at Paragua Beach Village in San Vicente, Palawan.
“We remain focused on continuing to establish our footprint in key areas around the country by delivering high-value properties in these tourism locations and business districts,” Megaworld President and CEO Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso said.
These developments are expected to generate jobs and spur economic activity in their respective areas, she added.
The P12-billion Sunny Coast Residential Resort, located within Westside City near Entertainment City, is a two-tower project offering units with private balconies and views of Manila Bay. Select one-bedroom units feature bi-level layouts designed to maximize coastal views.
The 16-hectare Northwin Main Street, meanwhile, forms part of the 85-hectare Northwin Global City township in Bulacan. Envisioned as a central business district inspired by New York’s Fifth Avenue, the estate will host commercial and shophouse lots,
Paragua Beach Village in Paragua Coastown, San Vicente, Palawan offers residential lots within an ecotourism township.
The project, which Megaworld claimed was recently sold out, is located near beach and forest attractions as well as planned commercial components such as the Porto Boutique Hotel and Mercato Shophouse District.
Megaworld earlier said it was also preparing to commence land development for new townships. These include the 84-hectare Ilocandia Coastown in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte and the 25-hectare San Benito Private Estate in Lipa, Batangas, the latter being developed in partnership with the group behind The Farm at San Benito.
Megaworld shares rose P0.03, or 1.44 percent, to close at P2.12 each on Wednesday.
