Amanah deputy president Datuk Seri Dr. Mujahid Yusof Rawa says Pakatan Harapan’s ‘Melaka Rumah Kita’ manifesto delivers concrete, accountable policy proposals rather than mere election slogans.
MELAKA: The Pakatan Harapan (PH) manifesto, ‘Melaka Rumah Kita’ (Melaka Our Home), demonstrates that the coalition presents clear policy proposals rather than mere election slogans, said Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) deputy president Datuk Seri Dr. Mujahid Yusof Rawa.
He said the three core pillars and 12 aspirations offered focus on issues integral to the lives of the people, including affordable housing, quality employment, business opportunities, social welfare, transportation, Islamic institutions, and clean governance.
“The proposal to allocate 30 per cent of local authority contracts to the youth must be implemented through an open, merit-based system, free from cronyism.
“Furthermore, the target of 25 million visitors by 2032 must translate into job creation, increased income for small-scale traders, and local economic advancement,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Emphasising that a manifesto should not merely serve as a campaign document, Mujahid noted that each aspiration must be accompanied by specific targets, timelines, and progress reports that can be evaluated by the public.
“This is the type of administration PH offers, one that is dignified, accountable, and focused on development that improves the lives of the people of Melaka,” he said.
Early voting for the 16th Melaka state election is set for Nov 10, while polling day will take place on Nov 14.
