Kota Kinabalu: Nawie Oilfield Services (NOS) Sdn Bhd partnered with NDT expert Bumitech Global Energy Sdn Bhd (BGESB) to expand their range of services for the oil and gas market across both upstream and downstream sectors, as well as facilitate market expansion.

The collaboration was formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the NOS headquarters in Lintas Jaya, here, recently.

Witnesses to the signing included NOS Corporate Advisor, Datuk George BH, and BGESB Executive Director, Syahruz Hafiz Kamarudin.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Sabah Oil and Gas Services Council (SOGSC) President, Datuk Harris Annuar Tan and SMJ Energy’s Executive Director for OGSE and Corporate, Terry Biusing.

Read more According to a joint statement, the partnership aims to provide a comprehensive range of services in Sabah and Labuan, primarily targeting the oil and gas industry.

Other industries, including power plants, defense and maritime, port terminals, water, food production, semiconductors, and general industries, will also benefit from this collaboration.

This strategic partnership seeks to harness the combined expertise and resources of both parties to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and innovation in integrated services,” the statement added.

The collaboration also emphasises human capital development by offering training programs to local talent and partnering with educational institutions such as Kolej Vokasional, Giatmara, Politeknik, and others.

Established in 2019, NOS is the first local provider specialising in thru-tubing services.

The company focuses on delivering robust technical support and capabilities in Thru-Tubing and Well Intervention Services to its clients.

Meanwhile, BGESB, founded in 2007, is a leading Bumiputera-owned company in Malaysia. It has established itself as a trusted provider of comprehensive services in NDT, inspection, engineering, and maintenance.
