MERCEDES-BENZ Malaysia has introduced the GLC 350e 4Matic Coupe Nightfall Edition, priced at RM 442,888 on-the-road without insurance in Peninsular Malaysia. The Nightfall Edition is locally assembled at Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s plant in Pekan, Pahang.
The main difference is the Night Package, which adds high-gloss black finishes to the Mercedes-Benz pattern, radiator grille louvre, window surrounds, exterior mirror housings, rear apron and diffuser. The door handles are finished in dark chrome, while the car rides on 20-inch Amg multi-spoke alloy wheels painted black.
It also retains the Amg Line exterior, panoramic sliding sunroof, aluminium-look running boards and Digital Light with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus.
Mechanically, the Nightfall Edition uses the same plug-in hybrid powertrain as the GLC 350 e 4Matic Coupe, combining a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor for a system output of 313hp and 550Nm.
Power is sent through a nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission and 4Matic all-wheel drive. Mercedes-Benz quotes a 0-100km/h time of 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 220km/h.
The plug-in hybrid system provides more than 100 km of electric driving range under the WLTP cycle, with electric-only driving possible at speeds of up to 140km/h. AC charging is supported at up to 11 kW, and a Mode 2 charging cable is included.
Inside, the Nightfall Edition largely carries over the equipment from the regular GLC 350 e 4Matic Coupe Amg Line.
It gets Artico upholstery, powered front seats with memory, heated front seats, a nappa leather Amg steering wheel and metal-structure trim.
The digital cockpit combines a 12.3-inch driver display with an 11.9-inch central touchscreen, alongside Mbux Navigation Premium and Mbux Augmented Reality Navigation.
A 15-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system is also included, together with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and a 5G communication module.
Safety and driver assistance equipment includes the Driving Assistance Package Plus with Active Distance Assist Distronic, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Pre-Safe Impulse Side.
The Parking Package adds a 360-degree camera, Active Parking Assist with Parktronic and a transparent bonnet function that provides a virtual view beneath the front of the vehicle.
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is also offering the GLC Coupe Nightfall Edition through its Agility+ financing plan from RM4,788 per month, which includes a fifth-year Star Gold extended limited warranty and four Compact Service Packages.
