KUALA LUMPUR 3 March - Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has introduced the new Mercedes-Benz GLA Nightfall Edition in two variants, expanding its locally assembled compact SUV portfolio with a darker, sportier aesthetic and upgraded equipment.

The special edition is offered as the Mercedes-Benz GLA 200 Nightfall Edition and the Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition, priced at RM258,888 and RM295,888 respectively for Peninsular Malaysia, on-the-road without insurance and inclusive of 10% sales tax.

Chief executive officer and president Martin Schulz described the launch as a key lifecycle milestone for the GLA nameplate in Malaysia, blending sporty design with everyday versatility.

“With its darker styling and enhanced equipment, it offers our customers in Malaysia a compact SUV that is as confident as it is refined,” he said, adding that the model continues to underline the brand’s focus on innovation, quality and driving experience within the competitive compact SUV segment.

Vice president of marketing and sales Nadia Trimmel said the Nightfall Edition presents a distinctive interpretation of the GLA, combining the Night Package, AMG Line styling and upgraded interior elements for a more dynamic appearance.

She noted that advanced features such as MULTIBEAM LED headlights, THERMOTRONIC climate control and the Parking Package with 360° camera enhance daily comfort and convenience, positioning the model as a strong value proposition from both styling and equipment perspectives.

Sportier exterior, enhanced equipment

The GLA Nightfall Edition retains the SUV’s athletic silhouette, highlighted by a bold radiator shell and pronounced shoulder lines.

The GLA 200 Nightfall Edition rides on 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, while the GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition features larger 20-inch AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels.

The range-topping GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition is equipped with MULTIBEAM LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist, ULTRA RANGE high beam and intelligent light functions, designed to improve visibility and driving confidence in varying road conditions.
