Craving a little sweet treat? Inside Scoop has got you covered with its ‘Lokal Legends’ collection of limited edition flavours! Introduced in conjunction with Merdeka (68th, to be specific), the creations see the ice cream purveyors partner with not one but six Malaysian brands. The homegrown names include the likes of Beryl’s, Farm Fresh, Gardenia, GSC, Julie’s and ZUS Coffee. The assortment is crafted as a celebration of Malaysia’s culinary heritage as well as nostalgic favourites.
The ‘Lokal Legends’ collection — available at all outlets from now until 21 September 2025 — will be offered in a custom-designed cup sleeve depending on the chosen option. Additionally, there’s also the Lokal Legends Party Pack (priced at RM68 each) that offers all six flavours. Now, wondering what delicious creations are part of the limited edition ice cream this year?
First up, there’s the ‘Beryl’s Gula Melaka Chocolate’, complemented with buttery crumble and cracking chocolate. Up next, try ‘Farm Fresh’s Choco Mat Kaw’, a dessert based on Farm Fresh Choco Malt but with added fudgy chocolate swirls. There’s also the ‘Gardenia’s Twiggies Choc-A-Lot’, comprising bite-sized pieces of Gardenia Twiggies Choc-A-Lot alongside milk chocolate ice cream.
Love popcorn? Consider ‘GSC’s Caramel Popcorn’, a concoction made with buttered pecans and salted caramel. If you prefer something more zesty, there’s the ‘Julie’s Le-mond Lemon’ — a fusion of lemon ice cream and Julie’s Le-mond Lemon sandwich crackers. Last but not definitely not least is the ‘ZUS Coffee’s Spanish Latte’, crafted with condensed milk-infused espresso-based milk ice cream.
