
Kota Kinabalu: The fire department removed a long metal rod that pierced through the right arm of a 10-year-old boy in Nabawan, Wednesday.
The department said in a statement they received an emergency call at 4.44pm from a clinic to facilitate their surgical procedure.
He said the department used a grinder to cut the rod before handing over the boy to the clinic for further action.
