- Heavy metal band Metallica has announced an eight-show residency at the Las Vegas Sphere this October.
- The residency, titled “No Repeat Weekends,” promises that fans attending both Thursday and Saturday shows will not hear the same song twice.
- The scheduled dates for the performances are October 1 & 3, October 15 & 17, October 22 & 24, and October 29 & 31.
- Metallica, featuring Lars Ulrich, James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo, stated that the Sphere's technology will offer an entirely new live experience for both the band and the audience.
- Tickets for the shows will go on general sale on March 6 at 10 a.m. PT, with various presale opportunities available in the preceding week and a half.
