MFW: Asian Celebrities That Stole The Spotlight At The Spring/Summer 2026 Shows

Buongiorno, Milano! We are officially in the throes of the Spring/Summer 2026 season. Dhurv Kapoor kicked things off with a show that centred on reinvention and challenging conventions. At Gucci, things took an atypical turn this season. Instead of a traditional runway presentation, the house unveiled a short film, The Tiger, with looks by Demna. The film premiere marked Demna’s first event at the house, following his exit from Balenciaga earlier this year. Other major Italian houses, like Dolce & Gabbana, Tod’s, Max Mara, Prada and more will also present shows in the fashion capital of Italy this season.

Just as striking as the runways are the front-row appearances. Like Paris, Milan Fashion Week often sees an influx of global stars, often dressed in each brand’s latest pieces. At Gucci, global brand ambassador Jin of BTS led the charge in star power, while fellow brand muse and GRAZIA Malaysia September 2025 cover star Alia Bhatt turned up in a sultry, leg-baring ensemble. Coats were bigger than ever on the Frow—with Thai darling Davika Hoorne and Squid Game actress Park Gyu-young opting for voluminous fur numbers.

At the Onitsuka Tiger show, global brand ambassador Momo of Twice and Joshua Hong of Seventeen brought serious heat, with fans lining up outside the show venue to catch a glimpse of the K-pop celebrities. Closer to home, Thai actress Baifern Pimchanok, as well as Singapore’s Chen Yi Xin, also made appearances on the front row. Meanwhile, over at Max Mara, Faye Peraya channelled the elegance and regality of a tall glass of Italian fine wine in a stunning all-red number.
