ACTRESS Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh has an added responsibility – as United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) global road safety ambassador.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Wee Ka Siong said that as UNDP goodwill ambassador and "anak Malaysia", Yeoh "has another most important role to play."
Dr Wee also unveiled a poster of the martial arts star as UNDP global road safety advisor in the post on Friday. In the poster, Yeoh is seen as saying, "Sustainable living to smash-hit movies. Safe roads go further than you think."
The tagline on the poster is "Safe roads play a leading role" and is hashtagged #streetsforlife.
The former Miss Malaysia will be advocating for greater road safety worldwide. – The Vibes, July 3, 2022
