Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick is looking to sign Leeds defender Charlie Cresswell.

The Sun says Boro would look to 'break' the defender's loan at Millwall to complete a permanent transfer - should Jesse Marsch's side allow it.

It is thought that a fee of 4million 'plus extras' would be enough to get a deal over the line for the 20-year-old.

Cresswell has featured 16 times in the Championship this season, showing his threat from set-pieces having scored four times for the Lions.
