Xiaomi Malaysia’s home appliance launch wasn’t only about laundry. Sharing the stage with its new Mijia washing machines was a fresh air purifier, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Plus, positioned as the pick for keeping larger homes clean.
Designed for larger spaces, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Plus uses a dual-impeller and dual-filter system to deliver airflow of up to 12,666 litres per minute. It can cover areas of up to 91 square metres and has a measured particle CADR of 810 cubic metres per hour.

For air purification, it combines a five-layer filtration system with a high-efficiency UVC module to help remove fine particles, allergens, formaldehyde and odours. It can also release negative ions to help keep the air feeling fresher.
As for how well it cleans, Xiaomi claims the purifier can remove up to 99.99% of PM1, PM2.5 and dust under tested conditions. It also comes with SGS-certified allergen removal, while a dedicated activated carbon filter helps reduce formaldehyde, odours and TVOC.

Five built-in sensors monitor air quality continuously, while noise levels can drop as low as 19.4dB(A) at its quietest setting. Through the Xiaomi Home app, users can check real-time air quality, adjust settings, create schedules and monitor the remaining filter life from their phone.

On pricing, the Mijia Smart Air Purifier 6 Plus lists at RM1,999, though it’s launching at a promo price of RM1,499. It goes on sale from 9 September 2026 through Xiaomi stores nationwide, on mi.com, and via Xiaomi’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop.
