Militant attack on Pakistan police post kills 11 officers

  • An overnight militant attack on a police post in northwestern Pakistan resulted in the deaths of 11 people, including a senior police officer, with over two dozen officers wounded.
  • The assault took place at the Khazina police post in Hangu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a region bordering Afghanistan.
