Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil extends condolences to family of former Bernama Chief News Editor S. Sivaselvam, who died aged 77.
KUALA LUMPUR: Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil has extended condolences to the family of former Bernama Chief News Editor S. Sivaselvam.
Fahmi expressed sympathy on behalf of the Ministry of Communications following Sivaselvam’s passing.
“His service and contributions to the field of journalism are greatly appreciated and will continue to be remembered,” Fahmi stated in a Facebook post.
The minister added, “May his soul rest in peace.”
Sivaselvam’s widow, Lalitha S. Nadarajah, confirmed her husband died at their Cheras home around 3 am today.
The 77-year-old, known affectionately as Siva, had been battling a short illness before his passing. – Bernama
