Ravinder Indraj Singh, Delhi Minister for Social Welfare, SC/ST/OBC Welfare, Cooperative and Elections, on Sunday inaugurated new Delhi Jal Board (DJB) pipeline projects at Jat Khor village and Kali Mata Mandir in Prakash Vihar under the Bawana Assembly constituency, aimed at improving water supply facilities in the area.

The projects are expected to provide residents with better, clean and uninterrupted water supply while strengthening civic infrastructure in unauthorised colonies and rural pockets of outer Delhi. Along with water pipelines, development works related to road repairs, footpaths, drainage systems and other civic amenities are also being undertaken in the region.

Addressing residents during the inauguration, Ravinder Indraj Singh said, “Development is not identified merely by announcements, but by facilities reaching people’s homes.”

He said the Delhi Government was working to ensure clean water, improved sewer systems and modern civic infrastructure for every citizen. Stressing the government’s larger development vision, he said, “Our goal is to rebuild every civic facility in a modern and efficient manner. We remain fully committed to public service and continuous development of the region.”

He said infrastructure neglected for years is now being modernised to provide permanent relief from sewer overflow, waterlogging and pipeline leakages.

Calling the initiative part of a larger development drive in Bawana, Ravinder Indraj Singh said, “Our commitment is to ensure that development works continue to reach every ward and every locality of the Bawana Assembly Constituency.
