Kota Kinabalu: Community Development and Wellbeing Minister Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya warned against cooking oil smuggling when subsidies for bottled cooking oil gets discontinued on July 1.
He explained the only subsidised cooking oil left would be the 1KG cooking oil polybags priced at RM2.50, a steep difference compared to other bottled cooking oil priced around RM9.
