TAWAU: The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives is targeting 800 entities to get a Basic Social Enterprise (SE Basic) rating under it this year.
Its Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick said as of June 15, the total number of social enterprises that had been rated SE Basic were 536 entities.
“Of this figure, a total of 499 are SE companies and 87 are SE cooperatives,” he said.
