Miri rep wins top lucky draw prize

MANAGER Faiezah Junaidi of Koperasi Penanam Sawit Mampan (KPSM) Niah Suai Berhad Miri, Sarawak won the lucky draw’s top prize on Saturday during the National Cooperative Day event at the Sabah International Convention Centre.

She took home a Perodua Axia.

The prize was presented by Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The 30-year-old said this was the first time she had won such a big prize and she also did not expect to be the lucky person to win the main prize.

According to Faiezah, she plans to turn the car into a rental car in Miri, adding that she has two other cars (Axia and Yariz) to rent out back in Sarawak.

She also thanked KPSM Keningau Berhad for sponsoring the main prize in conjunction with the National Cooperative Day.

Meanwhile, KPSM Keningau Berhad Chairman Datuk Justin Guka said the main prize is sponsored by KPSM Keningau Berhad, a Perodua Axia Rahmah car worth RM22,700, excluding road tax and insurance.

KPSM Niah Suai Berhad Miri, Sarawak and KPSM Keningau Berhad are among the best cooperatives in Malaysia that attended the programme.
