The significance of this event was highlighted by Manoharan Periasamy, senior director of International Promotion Division (Asia/Africa), Tourism Malaysia, who officiated the gala night. He emphasized that MIMS 2023 serves as a platform to elevate Malaysia onto the global stage while empowering women to realize their true potential.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiative, MIMS collaborated with SunStrong Sdn Bhd and the Love Life Association to provide daily food necessities for underprivileged children homes, aligning with the UNSDG’s Zero Hunger goal. This initiative is a testament to MIMS' commitment to positive social impact.
In a bid to continue its mission to promote positive energy, the winner of MIMS 2023 received an honorary one-year ambassadorship contract with SunStrong Sdn Bhd, along with an immunity pass for the next MIM pageant.
