A male student from University of Malaya went missing after driving back to his hometown in Johor from Petaling Jaya on September 12, 2 months ago.
Sin Chew Daily reported that Lee Zhang Cheng from Muar suddenly decided to drive home, and when he got to Johor, he told his family he had parked his car 15km away from their house. That was the last time they heard from him.

He suddenly decided to go back to Johor
The 22-year-old’s mom told Sin Chew Daily that the last time she and her family saw their son was on July 21 when he had just started a temporary job at an insurance company in Kuala Lumpur during the semester break.
She also mentioned how strange and sudden it was for him to decide to drive back to Muar, leaving his important documents in the car and abandoning them.
“We saw a message from him the next morning saying he parked his car in Zhili New Town. But when we went to look for him and found he wasn’t there, we called the police.”

“No one knew where he had gone”
Lee’s mom explained that after realising he was missing, she and her family put up a missing person notice on social media and even went to the insurance company where he worked, hoping to find some answers.
“No one from his insurance company office noticed anything unusual about my son before he disappeared, and no one knew where he had gone.”
She shared a description of her son, mentioning that he is fair-skinned, around 172cm tall, weighs about 55kg, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, shorts, and slippers.
The family is seeking the public’s help in hopes of bringing their son back home.
