Missing cat survives 40 days alone in the Colorado wilderness

• After an extensive but unsuccessful search, Bullen made the difficult decision to return home to Minnesota without Fridge as park rangers said the chances of finding her were low.
• Forty days later, Fridge was found by someone and brought to the Humane Society, leading to a call to Bullen.
• Bullen immediately drove 16 hours back to Colorado to be reunited with Fridge, who is now healthy but slightly underweight after her wilderness ordeal.
