
LAHAD DATU: A 75-year-old woman who was reported missing from her house at Felda Sahabat 5, Kampung Desa Kencana on Tuesday, has been found safe.
Rosmini Iskandar was discovered about 300 metres from her house by her family members at about 11.40am.
District Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Sumsoa Rashid, said his department received a distress call about the incident at 10.28pm Tuesday.

The victim’s family and villagers launched search efforts for the victim but failed and contacted the Fire and Rescue Department for help.
A team of Fire and Rescue personnel was deployed to the scene.
“Upon arrival, the team together with police and victim’s family members launched a search for the victim at the location where she was last seen.
However, the victim was yet to be found and the operation was temporarily halted at 1.30am and resumed at 6.12am, he said.
The SAR resumed on the second day and found the woman safe at 11.40am by family members about 300 metres from their house.
“The victim was handed over to her family and the operation was called off,” he added.
