Two days after her horrifying murder came to light, the missing head and a few ribs of murdered Hong Kong model Abby Choi Tin-Fung were discovered in a sizable soup pot on Sunday, according to South China Morning Post.
The discovery came after a massive weekend investigation of the crime scenes at a village house in Tai Po and a cemetery in Tseung Kwan O. The head and ribs were being kept at a morgue, the source said, adding that the body parts were found in one of the two soup pots police retrieved on Friday from home in Lung Mei Tsuen.
Following the discovery of a Hong Kong socialite's headless body in a suburban home, a manhunt is being conducted for her ex-husband. Also, the local police discovered human tissue in two pots of soup and chopped human tissue lying around the residence.
Superintendent Alan Chung Nga Lun of the Kowloon West regional crime section described the murder as "premeditated" and "well-planned".
A ground-floor unit of the three-story house, said Supt. Chung had been meticulously prepared as a location to dismember a body.
"We discovered the body parts inside the refrigerator. He was reported in The Straits Times as saying, "There are two legs that belong to a female.”
The parents and older brother of Ms. Choi's previous spouse have been detained by Hong Kong authorities. They range in age from 31 to 65.
The ex-husband, who is allegedly responsible for the murder, is still wanted. He goes by Alex Kwong and is unemployed.
On Tuesday, Ms. Choi was last seen at Tai Po's Fo Chun Road at about 2.15 p.m. She had on a long-sleeved white top, white leggings, white slippers, and a purple handbag. Before going missing, Ms. Choi was seen on closed-circuit television.
Ms. Choi and her ex-husband had two kids. When she wed Mr. Kwong is unknown. She was getting ready to pick up her kid on Tuesday.
