Missing maritime officer found safe and sound

PETALING JAYA: A missing maritime officer has been found safe after he hiked up the Air Terjun Telaga Waterfall, in Langkawi yesterday evening (May 24).

Mohd Ridhaudden Rosman, 32 was reportedly found safe at 5pm by the police after missing for a day, as reported by Harian Metro.

“The victim was found safe and has since been taken to Sultanah Maliha hospital for further treatment,” said Langkawi District Police chief, Assistant Commissioner Shariman Ashar in a statement.

The victim from the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) went missing after believed to have hiked up the famous waterfall by himself.

The officer is on duty in Langkawi for the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2023).
