Officers and soldiers of 21 Sikh Regiment, departing from Ferozepur for Leh-Ladakh, met Khadoor Sahib MLA Manjinder Singh Lalpura, who also served in the regiment, at Rasulpur Nehra near Tarn Taran here today.

On the occasion, serving and former soldiers greeted each other and refreshed fond memories over lunch. Commanding Officer (CO) Araj Beniwal, several JCOs and other officers were present took part in the event.

Former soldiers of the regiment paid their respects to the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and presented Rumala Sahib to the officers. MLA Lalpura and former soldiers presented the officers a model of Sri Harmandir Sahib.

Captain Dayal Singh, Captain Kuldeep Singh, Nirvail Singh Rattoke, Dhira Singh, Kuldeep Singh Failoke, among others, were present on the occasion.
