MMDA announces streamlined service

THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Thursday that its online violation and payment system is now connected to the government’s centralized digital platform.

This would allow motorists to check, monitor, and pay their noncontact apprehension policy (NCAP) citations through the eGovPH Super App.

The MMDA launched the service on Thursday in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

The technology will enable users to verify NCAP apprehension records, view violation details, monitor payment status, and access related services online through a single application, eliminating the need to use separate platforms for traffic-related transactions.

“The successful integration was made possible through the close collaboration of the MMDA and DICT technical teams, which spent six months developing the system,” Department of Information and Communications Technology Undersecretary David Almirol Jr. said.

Almirol said the eGovPH Super App has now been downloaded 60 million times. Its recorded 55 million verified users, and 955 million transactions were a testament to the adoption of digital government services nationwide.

The MMDA said the integration builds on the agency’s existing MayHuliKa portal, which has recorded more than 15 million site visits, over 11 million traffic violation checks, and 2.7 million unique users.

The agency assured motorists that all transactions made through the eGovPH Super App are protected 24/7.
