KUALA TERENGGANU, May 24 — An alleged sexual misconduct case involving a teacher at a school in Setiu, which went viral on social media, is being investigated by the Integrity Unit of the Ministry of Education (MOE).

The Terengganu Education Department (JPNT) said that investigations are ongoing and the public is urged to channel any information to the department.

It said the teacher has been placed at the district education office (PPD) while the investigation is being carried out.

“JPNT does not compromise on any sexual misconduct under its educational institutions. Action will be taken against anyone found guilty,” the department said in a statement. — Bernama
