
THE Ministry of Finance (MoF) has announced that retail prices of petroleum products will remain unchanged for the period from 4 to 10 September 2025, in accordance with the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula.
In a statement issued today, the ministry confirmed the fixed retail prices for RON97 petrol remains unchanged at RM3.16 per litre and the retail price of RON95 petrol remains unchanged at RM2.05 per litre
The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia remains unchanged at RM2.88 per litre; and the retail price of diesel in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remains unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The ministry also assured that the Government will continue to monitor global oil price movements and implement appropriate measures to safeguard the welfare and well-being of the rakyat.
The current pricing is part of the Government’s broader fuel subsidy and price control framework, aimed at shielding Malaysians from fluctuations in global energy markets. - Sept 3, 2025
