Mohamed Elyounoussi is on the verge of signing a new contract with Southampton.

The Daily Echo reports that the Norwegian winger will sign a new deal that will be for three to four years.

Ralph Hasenhuttl views Elyounoussi as a crucial member of his squad.

The 27-year-old joined Southampton in the summer of 2018 for a fee of around £16m but he made just 16 league appearances in his maiden campaign.
