Kota Kinabalu: Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) Sabah Branch Chairman Ir. Ts. Mohd Yaakob Jaafar has been re-elected to the post during the body’s 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) last Saturday.
Supporting him for the new term are Vice Chairmen Ir. Ts. KJ Tan, JP, and Ir. Paul Yap.
Ir. Dr. Michael Tay and Ir. Wong Chen Jack were appointed as Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer, respectively, while Datuk Ir. Willy Chin was named Immediate Past Chairman.

Members were briefed on the branch’s performance report and audited financial statements, as well as the upcoming event announcements, which include the revamped of its website, the settlement of HQ soft loan and the invitation to join the branch’s Golden Jubilee Dinner on June 14 this year.
