KOTA KINABALU: Sungai Manila Assemblyman Mokran Ingkat called for urgent government intervention to resolve Sabah’s persistent infrastructure issues: water shortages, unreliable electricity, and poor roads.
Citing recent protests in Taman Permata and Kampung Peringkat Enam, he said public frustration is growing.
While some water issues in Sandakan and Sungai Manila saw minor improvements, Mokran stressed that temporary fixes aren't enough.
