Molenbeek midfielder Jeff Reine-Adelaide is proud of his time with Arsenal.

Injuries denied the Frenchman to full establish himself at Arsenal.

But he told Belgium's RTBF: " At Arsenal, I met a great coach Arsne Wenger, a man who built this whole club. He trusted me directly... even though I was a young kid and didn't speak a word of English.

"At 17, he lined me up in a friendly against Wolfsburg and told me to play my game without pressure, to be myself and to have fun. It worked well since I released a dice pass and I was voted Man of the Match that day.

"I hope one day to return to play in England: it's box-to-box football, we go blow for blow... even if Manchester City has today brought a game based on monopolising the ball.

"In London, I had great moments, I participated in the victorious campaign in the FA Cup. I rubbed shoulders and faced great players: Kevin De Bruyne in particular, he's classy. In France, I also played against Jrmy Doku when he was in Rennes. You have a famous generation of players, the old and the new. Eden Hazard: what a shame that he is ending his career... Since the 2018 World Cup, you don't like us, the French!"
